I was born and raised in England but moved in Barcelona in 2004 and have been based in Spain ever since. After spending 14 years in the beautiful Catalan capital, I moved down the coast to a little town on the Costa Daurada with my Uruguayan husband, Marcelo and our adorable sausage dog, Pixie.
I’m a qualified teacher, with over 20 years’ experience working with adults and teenagers in further education, businesses, language academies, and private classes. Before moving to Spain, I was teaching AS & A Levels in Sixth Form Colleges in England in Dance, Performing Arts, & Media Studies.
I first began teaching Spanish when the daughter of one of my friends in the UK wanted help preparing for her GCSE exam, and since then, demand has grown! As a private Spanish Tutor, I specialize in helping teenagers improve their confidence, fluency, and language skills via fun, dynamic sessions that focus on communication and the UK school curriculum.
